4 Things to Do This Easter in Manchester

As Easter is approaching in just over a couple of weeks, we wanted to bring you a list of some of the events and activities that are taking place across our wonderful city of Manchester. This year, Easter takes place on 1st April 2018. That’s no April Fools, it’s definitely on this day! We’re looking forward to spring… that’s if we ever get rid of the rainy, cold weather. Our idea of spring is more about blossoming daffodils, a little bit of sunshine, and eating lots of chocolate of course!

Breakfast with Bunny

On Sunday 1st April, the Hard Rock Café in The Printworks, one of Manchester’s famous entertainment and nightlife venues, are holding an Easter themed event. This Easter Sunday gives you the opportunity to go along to the café with friends and family to enjoy a lovely Easter breakfast. To see what’s on the menu between 10.00 and 11.30am, click here.

Street food, music, and drinks

Also on Easter Sunday, you can enjoy some street food, music, and drinks at The Pilcrow Pub. Their French-Canadian food will not disappoint. They are celebrating the Easter holiday throughout the whole day and evening.

Highlights Tour

Manchester Art Gallery invites you to their free Highlights Tour. Their volunteer guides will take you on a tour of their fabulous building as they explore the history of the gallery on Sunday 1st April, during 2.00pm and 3.00pm. View more information on their website.

Lookout, it’s Saturday Playhouse

This is a free activity for children taking place at The Lowry. Saturday 31st March is the last day to attend. The landscape around the Salford Quays and MediaCityUK area, along with what’s inside the buildings is used as inspiration. You can keep up to date with details via The Lowry’s website.
